Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Aruba airport transportation
- How much does an airport transfer cost in Aruba?
- Aruba airport transfer prices vary based on your destination and vehicle type. Private transfers start from $80 per vehicle, luxury and VIP transfers start from $150 per vehicle, and private round-trip luxury SUV transfers are $69 total for both legs. All prices are displayed upfront with no hidden fees when you book.
- Is Uber available at Aruba airport?
- Uber is not currently available in Aruba. Pre-booking a transfer through a reputable service ensures you have reliable transportation waiting when you land. This is especially important during peak travel seasons when local taxis can be scarce.
- How reliable are pre-booked airport transfers?
- Pre-booked transfers through verified providers are highly reliable. Drivers monitor flight arrivals and adjust for delays. You receive confirmation with driver details, and customer support is available if needed. This is far more dependable than hoping for an available taxi on arrival.
- Should I tip my airport transfer driver in Aruba?
- Tipping is appreciated but not mandatory in Aruba. A standard tip of 10-15% or $5-10 USD for excellent service is customary. Many travelers tip for help with luggage or particularly friendly service.
- How far in advance should I book my Aruba airport transfer?
- We recommend booking at least 24-48 hours in advance, especially during high season (December-April). Booking early ensures availability and allows you to compare options. Last-minute bookings are sometimes possible but may have limited vehicle choices.
- What happens if my flight is delayed?
- Reputable transfer services monitor flight arrivals in real-time. Your driver will adjust their arrival time based on your actual landing time at no extra charge. Include your flight number when booking so drivers can track your arrival.
- Can I book a round-trip airport transfer?
- Yes, most services offer round-trip transfers at discounted rates compared to booking separately. This ensures you have transportation secured for both arrival and departure, giving you peace of mind for your entire trip.
